2026 RTA Member Field Trip

Description

The Railway Tie Association’s Members Field Trip is scheduled for June 8-11 in the Union City, TN/Guthrie, KY area.

This field trip takes members behind-the-scenes for a first-hand look at manufacturing operations across the wood tie supply chain through exclusive plant tours, site visits, and interactive discussions.

This "Wood Tie Educational Journey - From Tree to Track" gives members direct access to real-world processes, emerging practices, and valuable peer insights, all while building stronger relationships within the wood tie industry.

Location

Hampton Inn Union City

The host hotel is the Hampton Inn in Union City, Tenn., with visits to related manufacturing operations throughout the area, including the Stella-Jones plant in nearby Fulton, Ky.
