The Railway Tie Association’s Tie Grading Seminar is a premier educational program designed for professionals across the wood tie supply chain, including railroaders.
This multi-day event delivers practical, hands-on instruction in railroad engineering, species and defect identification, treating methods, and more; industry standards training; and expert-led sessions focused on identifying and improving tie quality, consistency, and performance. VIEW AGENDA

This year's Tie Grading Seminar is hosted by Stella-Jones Corp., with on-site instruction taking place at the Fulton, Kentucky, plant. Classroom instruction will be held at the Hampton Inn in Union City, Tennessee.
